I agree with Crawford but this isn't going to win him any fans. Unfortunately, it's not the fans that decides these kinds of awards. It's the boxing writers. They're more likely to identify with Lomachenko than Crawford.

I don't think Crawford gets the credit for beating th smaller Lomachenko the same way he got for beating the smaller, much older, inactive Rigondeaux. I could care less if some people gave Rigondeaux a chance. The fight was a mismatch and it didn't even live up to that.

I agree with TC. Loma a top talent, but many "fans" on here are flavor of the week guys...ride fighters with KO streaks (regardless of their opponents) and abandon them when the KO stops. Happened to Manny, MarGGGarito, Kovy, Nonito, Broker, etc.

And the 2 latest flavors are Spence and Loma. All the sudden everyone is a "fan" and "knew all along".
