    [UFC] Floyd at Featherweight

I don't recognize a lot of the names at that weight, but I'm pretty sure Floyd could whip Jose Aldo in an MMA fight.

In 2005 Aldo had his only 2 submission wins. Everything else is decisions and tko/ko's. This is the type of fighter Floyd could be matched up with. A non-ground guy that likes to strike.

Aldo has lost 3 of his last 5 and all of them were by tko (punches).

Get one thing straight, if Floyd does fight in the UFC it won't be against a top fighter like McMaggot.

Who else is out there that's a non-ground specialist in/around that weight?

jose aldo?!? this is a joke right? aldos ground game blows conors out the water he just never goes to it. he has a black belt in bjj and would twist floyd into a pretzel.

Hey TS, I like you and normally agree with you. Big Floydiot here and I think Aldo finishes him quick. Floyd would have a small chance to catch Aldo coming in though.

You just don't know what you're talking about. Aldo is a black belt in BJJ. He would take Floyd down and submit him quickly.

Aldo could easily chop Floyd down with low kicks alone. People underestimate kicks...if you're in with a guy who doesn't have good takedowns or particularly good kick defense/counters, kicks can be thrown from outside punching range with near impunity.

Any UFC fighter is just going to kick his leg and then it's over from there.

Floyd would have a 1% punchers chance (more than any MMA fighter has against a top boxer) but realistically he gets splattered every time. He doesn't know how to defend these things plus he is not conditioned to take those blows.

No submissions in 13 years. Know what I mean?

Like the original post says, if that's the wrong guy name somebody.

Conor is probably the best matchup for Floyd in the UFC as well.

Floyd is going to get kicked in the head and go to sleep.
