Where does this myth come from? Surely not the Wlad fight? Wlad lost that fight being safety first more than Fury won it. Fury fought the perfect opponent. He'll be back to getting dropped by cruiserweights soon enough.

First off, what is NSB?

Second, the second part of your statement isn't necessarily true, even if Fury does come back (which the odds are against happening)

Why? He's not banned and has his license back, and is currently training hard and shedding weight. I think the odds of him returning are pretty good

Why? AJ isn't some world beater. The only opponent he's ever faced with a bit of movement is Takam, and he looked like dog ****. Fury is a level above the likes of Takam and the rest of the bums on AJ's resume.

even if he does that, it doesn't mean he wins the Ring title. The only way for the Ring to crown a new champ is for the #1 and #2 contenders to fight. That is AJ and Wilder.

Meh, who cares? If Fury comes back and beats Joshua, he'll be rated the #1 HW in the world by anyone with a boxing brain. Wilder still hasn't fought a top 10 opponent, thus his high ranking is laughable.

It's the way he won as well. His last three opponents barely landed a single punch on him, let alone won a round. Complete domination.

Fury has been put on such a highpedestal. His only notable win is against a gun shy Vlad! He didn't know what Fury was going to do because Fury didn't even know what he was going to do! The Vlad that fought AJ would KO any version of Fury we've seen.
His other wins aren't overly impressive either, he is also a drugs cheat who hid the evidence until after the Vlad fight.
Fury will never be the same when he's back, you can't abuse your body like that then come back the way you were it goes against science.

Ali abused his body for years and it didn't start to cost him until Spinks (though was noticeable long before that)
