The majority of the Ring champions are vacant. We should be complaining about the lack of key matchups rather than making excuses for bypassing them due to our impatience. No shortcuts, AJ can claim this era the hard way - by earning it!Last edited by SAINTSTEVE; 02-01-2018, 05:15 PM.

There's no logical reason to have a PED abuser who hasn't fought in over 2 years as lineal, which is why TBRB doesn't and the ring just stripped him.

This is boxing ffs, did you start crying when Tyson threatened to eat Lewis's children? Or when Wilder beat up that hooker? I doubt it somehow. Do you think Fury is the first boxer/sportsman to sniff the odd line in his own time? Trust me, he's not.
As for the roids, still completely unproven. Half the HW division has been popped for PEDS. Ortiz, Povetkin, Whyte, they've all failed tests, but i don't see f4gg0ts like you crying about it in their threads.
Stick to netball gayboy.

Having the Ring belt wouldn't have anything to do with Wilder , it would have to do with getting the number ONE HW to represent them and thats Joshua .
These clowns might not even see a Wilder vs Joshua fight until 2019 .....if your going to strip Fury of the belt a fight needed to be put in place ,now what ? Hang the belt on a wall?
Fury will end up fighting before that Joshua and Wilder takes place anyway ? So the answer is no champion to have it ? What ******s .
It's better it be vacant than an out of shape, coked out Fury lose the belt against f&ckin' Shannon Briggs or somebody who's not even ranked.
Let Wilder & Joshua fight for it

Anyone with an ounce of common sense wouldn't consider him lineal. Which is why major ranking sites like TBRB, ESPN, The Ring don't consider him lineal.
You either lose it in the ring or OFFICIALLY retire.

Is there not a middle path on the Fury?
I know everyone loves or loves to hate Fury (and Hughie for that matter, by association), but Fury has been such a hot mess with drug abuse and controversy and what appears to be legitimate mental illness...I never expected to see him in a ring again.
But just like the guy who accidentally punched himself in the face in a prize fight managed an ugly, dull, but clear and legit win over Wlad Klitschko for the title...Fury has this bizarre ability to beat the odds and the eye test. Bad body, bad attitude, but he finds a way to get it done...somehow.
I find Joshua's public nice guy routine disingenuous, but he's the legit champ now and though I wouldn't have a rooting interest in either fighter, I think he may manage to provide a strangely dangerous challenge for Joshua. And I'd be curious to see how it shakes out.
And while we're at it there is more alphabet belt soup to use as bait to get more prospects tested against each other and keep clearing the fog in a resurgent heavyweight division.
Could be and has been worse in the division for a long time.
Hey, Shannon Briggs is still coming back, right?
