Comments Thread For: Bellew: I'm 100% Certain I Could Find a Way To Beat Usyk!

Former WBC cruiserweight champion Tony Bellew (29-2-1, 19 KOs) has warned that he plans to return to his old division with the goal of reclaiming his old world title. Bellew dropped the cruiserweight title in early 2017, for a move to heavyweight to face his domestic rival David Haye.

Nope Nope Nope, you get beat by decision possibly even a late stoppage. Take your second Hayeday and ride off into the sunset, you've already alluded that your body is starting to feel the effects and your heart isn't truly in it in anymore.

Can someone explain why Bellew is getting all this coverage these days, even for ****** things?

After watching Usyk vs Breidis, I can see Bellew giving Usyk a lot of problems with his straight punching. Usyk has a lot of talent and has great conditioning but he still looks vulnerable to me. At times he's not even looking when he's throwing and he's certainly not impossible to hit.
If Balloon did go back down to cruiser and take on these guys, I would dig the guy a whole lot more. Definitely has a reasonable chance against Usyk, though.

I suppose he was the unbeaten cruiser champ, add to that his high profil (if not entirely convincing) win vs Haye.
If you can win and keep reminding people you haven't retired, then you're always going to be in the picture. That the boxy-business for you.

Because he's popular, I think he would be brilliant for the cruiserweight division. Some very good boxers are fighting each other and its not getting much attention, despite taking risks .. compare with the heavyweights.

If Bellew goes back to cruiserweight he could fight the WBSS winner in a stadium and bring attention back to that division and you'll get a decent fight.

Usyk has already said previously that's what he wants.

Usyk-Bellew would be good but it's getting tiring that Bellew has claimed he could beat Tyson Fury and Wilder and then admitted the size difference would be too much, so it's clear he just wants to continually run his mouth about everyone for the sake of getting attention. Could be he's just name dropping again.
