I want Lara to win but Hurd will take it...................

Hurd is younger, aggressive and much bigger than the older Lara. As I have previously posted Angulo was able to find Lara and I suspect Hurd being a better fighter will too. Can Lara stay on his toes for 12 rounds with Hurd's relentless and powerful pace in the twilight of his career? Lara is world class all the way, however youth and unbridled strength takes this one. Hurd will win.

Hopefully its a small ring where Lara will be forced to trade. His hands aren't active enough to deal with that pressure

Trout and Tony Harrison did very well vs Hurd until they tried to get down and trade with the much bigger man. Lara is not goin to do that.

Trout is a slick southpaw, Lara is a slick southpaw.

Therefore, fighting Lara now makes more sense. You'll have had two training camps with a match in between preparing for essentially the same fighting style.

If he fights Charlo now he'll have to have an entirely different training camp, and then he'll have to re-adjust to slick southpaw style again for Lara. That just wouldn't make sense.

He learned a lot from the Trout fight and that will help him to deal better with Lara.

Also, Charlo been knocking out mfers recently. Hurd aint gonna be able to walk through his punches like he will with Lara and did to Trout.

This is a smart decision by Hurd.

Lara is much, much more slicker. If Trout gave him problems Lara will give him fits.

i think lara if he feels the pressure is getting to him will pull a rigo in the later rds the lara of 8 years ago could handle 12 rds of pressure now hes just a pot shotter whos gotten used to fighting easy mediocre competition the last decent guy he fought was trou and that was what 3 4 years ago hurd hasnt been beating world beaters but he did what no even canelo or lara could do ko trout i dont thimk laras pot shots will keep hurd off him he would need to sit down on his combos but he wony be able to throw combos for more than 7 or 8 rds lara is experienced having fought canelo.,trout.angulo,williams but in the lasty 4 years hes been fighting very confortable opponents glorified sparring sessions while hurd kept his promise koing trout this will be passing of the torch good by complasient boring ass lara hello to hurd new unified champ for how long dont know his fight with charlo will be a toss up plus it only a matter of time b4 he goes to 160.
