Hurd is the underdog but I tip him to stop Lara.

I could see a Hurd upset for sure after getting dominated early on

I'm glad it's looking like a good possibility Charlo and Lara are going to fight. But Hurd is no joke and Lara is getting older so nothing is set in stone yet.

Hurd should have fought Charlo first.

Trout is a slick southpaw, Lara is a slick southpaw.

Therefore, fighting Lara now makes more sense. You'll have had two training camps with a match in between preparing for essentially the same fighting style.

If he fights Charlo now he'll have to have an entirely different training camp, and then he'll have to re-adjust to slick southpaw style again for Lara. That just wouldn't make sense.

He learned a lot from the Trout fight and that will help him to deal better with Lara.

Also, Charlo been knocking out mfers recently. Hurd aint gonna be able to walk through his punches like he will with Lara and did to Trout.

This is a smart decision by Hurd.

Lara and Trout fight nothing alike. If Hurd goes into this fight expecting it to go the same way as the Hurd-Trout fight he will be in for a huge awakening.

Hurd is will be chasing Lara all night and Lara will be running and pot shotting. Either Hurd by KO or Lara by decision.
