  • Would be funny if Golovkin KO's Canelo to see all these anti-GGG "boxing fans" be quiet for a while. Dude is a great entertainer and a really nice guy. Why would you hate him ? He's great for the sport...

That being said i think Canelo wins a competitive UD

    • He was robbed

The other fighter ran, clinched or was on PED'S

      He was 100 years old

      He was injured

      • Tragically, I don't think Byrd turned in that terrible score because she was paid or involved in some conspiracy. I think she simply doesn't understand what she's looking at in a fight, let alone how to score it. Someone at the network probably told her Canelo would win big and she had it in mind...rest is history. It reminded me of De la Hota vs. Sturm.

Larry Holmes was losing to Michael Spinks at 35.

So, PLEASE tell me how EVERYBODY's so much better at 35, than they were at 28.

              ****ing ridiculous
MarGGGarita chose to stay amateur and beat up teenagers.

              Cinnamon simply quelled her myth

That's entirely possible. I just think that a lot of seasoned boxing fans cannot properly visualize how blind a judge can be when the simply know nothing about the sport. They cannot imagine how anyone could not get it or see it. And there are a good number of judges in big fights who have 0 boxing IQ, sadly. Imagine a bunch of longtime, die hard fight fans trying to judge pairs figure skating. We would have no clue what we were looking at and unless the skater fell, we'd have nothing to go on but crowd cheers and which girl we thought was prettier. That is Adalaide Byrd watching boxing.

i most certainly DID NOT make anything up...i dont live in fantasyland..i dont make things up

it was written over here many times over the last 3-4 years....for me to go back and find several examples would take more time than i care to invest on it....but take my word...it happened

whenever someone would bash golovkins resume his fans would stand up "hes a young 33...he hasnt taken punishment...he will be around for awhile...you cant write him off or his resume off yet....he still has plenty of time to make it better"

he takes a step up twice, and barely wins one and gets a draw, and now hes suddenly old and falling off the cliff

Well, no, because the crowd and many broadcasters were pro-MarGGGarito. For whatever reason only like 25% of viewers felt Canelo won, 25% felt it was a draw, and like 50% think MarGGGarito won. Based on what I don't know because it is literally inconceivable for me to say MarGGGarito won. He did nothing well aside from jab. His straight rights, overhand rights, left hooks (very minimal), and every other punch was poor and definitely worse than Ca$hnelos.

Ca$hnelo had better defense and S W E P T the championship rounds on ALL judge's scorecards. I mean...all MarGGGarito did was land scoring jabs, eat a lot of punches and prove a strong chin, and chase Ca$hnelo all night long. The aggression wasn't effective.

So, yeah, I have no idea how/why so many people saw the fight so differently. It was actually pretty easy for me to score the fight.

If you're wondering how I score fights, here are some recent close ones that sparked lots of debate:

                    Kovalev 115-112 Ward (1st fight)
                    Horn 116 - 112 Pac

Both of those fights can be scored differently. I just saw them that way. Very, very, very surprised at the outrage some people have over those fights because they could definitely be scored differently. In fact I originally had Ward beating Kovy 114-113, but upon additional views couldn't justify that score.

Each time I rewatch Canelo-GGG I get more and more confused how - anyone - could think Canelo didn't put on a beautiful performance. He was very, very good in that fight. Simply put - a better fighter. I can't fathom giving MarGGGarita 7 rounds in that bout. It's just out of the question. I'd say Tim Bradley beat Pac in their 1st fight before I'd say MarGGGarito beat Ca$hnelo.

3 or 4 years you say but your join date is 2017, doesn't add up I must say, as I've said, I have never heard anyone say he's a young 33. He likes to fight so you will always take some damage, the ouma fight for instance but eh, believe what you want, lots of people talk themselves into believing something is true
