    • After the fight, G said he was not waiting until May 5. They tried to act like Canelo wasn't wanting the rematch. Canelo and GB said from the beginning they want the rematch next and they want it on Cinco de Mayo.

After finally giving in and accepting GB's offer for the first fight, they have again done exactly what ODLH wanted him to do and told him to do. Loeffler is lucky to be getting any money from either of these fights. I guess he earned it by keeping G away from any risk whatsoever for so long though.

      • Canelo will ice GGG this time.

Now he knows the movements of GGG and he is the smarthest fighter.of both.

Lol using that logic ggg lost clearly, all he did was us pitty pat stat stuffing jabs... right hand was absent, and his body punches called out...
That is complete nonsense. Fighters have been knocked down with a jab. Some have been knocked out. Do you even watch boxing. Scoring punches are punches that land cleanly. Power punches are punches that have an effect on the opponent. That includes a jab. A right cross that lands but does nothing isn't a power punch. Paulie is a good example.

Golovkin barely landed anything with any power. Even his jab was weak taps. Canelo clearly landed the bigger shots throughout.

He's right BTW. Punch stats anything that isn't a jab is a power punch.

Every jab Golovkin throws is calibrated to hurt as long as it lands. Golovkin exerted just as much power against Canelo like in all his fights. The reason why Golovkin had a jab strategy is because he has good accuracy and is less risked to get hit from farther range since Canelo wanted to counter. The second fight will be more interesting. Canelo is just one chunky short guy that's fast, and Rosado or Macklin are nowhere near the skill level of Saul Alvarez. That is the difference many Golovkins do not want to accept.
