I disagree that Canelo landed more power punches or at least enough to offset his periods of inactivity. A scoring punch is one that lands without being blocked even partially. A power punch is a punch that has a effect on the opponent. If a guy winds up and tees off on the other guy and that guy isn't affected it's not really a power punch.

If it isn't a power punch when someone tees off a haymaker on you then what in the flying **** is it then a jab? try collecting ggg dolls as then you'd know what the f*** your talking about,as you CLEARLY only know love 4 ggg about boxing.

Golovkin's jab was forcing Canelo back. Canelo's flashy combinations couldn't force Golovkin backwards, retreat to the ropes or disengage.

Anyway the official score is what it is. I think it was a major screw job but there is a rematch. I had to laugh because several years ago Oscar gave an interview saying that Golovkin couldn't fight going backwards. In reality we found out Canelo can't fight going backwards. Canelo could not stop the jab or counter it. The jab is the most basic punch in boxing.

Yet ggg couldn't muster more than 8 body shots the entire fight,& he was virtually disarmed of his right hand completely. Canelo landed ALL of his signature punches,he did it at a very high accuracy,& he made ggg limited to ONLY jabs to the head like the 1 dimensional hypejob I ALWAYS said he was & would be exposed in the exact fashion he did.
