Gassiev Is A Bad Match-up For Usyk...

If Gassiev passes Doritos who I think is a tougher match-up for him.

    Usyk has no punching power

    Usyk can be hit

    Usyk's style can be crowded

    Gassiev has an iron chin

    Gassiev has a good tank

Gassiev will track down Usyk and unload bombs to head and body.

Gassiev is still relatively raw, can be hit, and has poor mid-long range game, something that Usyk absolutely excels at. He can easily be outboxed and kept at a distance the whole fight, and come out with a puffy face having landed nothing.

I absolutely love Gassiev, his style, persona and his fights. But if he fights Usyk, that can easily turn into a Saunders-Lemieux type of fight.

this is the classic Castillo/Maidana vs Mayweather type of fight.

Except Gassiev hits harder P4P than both and he doesn't have a size disadvantage like those other 2 had against Mayweather.

      Usyk also isn't as slick.

      Gassiev will hunt Usyk down.

Gassiev is like 23 and has not shown half of the attributes you have claimed yet. Im a fan but he has his biggest test that he needs to get through this weekend before you can claim he causes Usyk problems.. let alone beats him

I feel this depends on Usyk. He can make it relatively easy by staying mobile and maintaining a more amateurish approach but
If Usyk isn't switched on & stands in front of him too long as he's been quite prone to in recent outings he's asking for big trouble.
That's one big, strong, hard-hitting CW.

I think the more polished, experienced and fundamentally sound Dorticos is the tougher fight for Usyk. He can match him tit-for-tat, Gassiev's only real shots a punchers chance.

Who you got this weekend? Im starting to think gassiev is going to stop dorticos around the midway point...bodyshots.
Can't get the kalenga fight out of my head and we havent seen gassiev go through that kind of adversity yet.

Both Castillo and Maidana had the size advantage over Floyd when he fought them . Mayweather was outweighed not the other way around.

                  I'm really torn.
Normally I'd take the better boxer in Dorticos but there's a few things about Dorticos I'm not yet sold on (his chin and stamina mainly I think his defense ain't great either Kalenga hit him at will almost and he faded bad in the middle rounds) he likes a brawl a bit too much and despite having a handspeed advantage and better arsenal I feel it suits the harder hitting, stronger more durable Gassiev.

I had Dorticos (slight edge) but probably slightly leaning to Gassiev now by stoppage mid-late.

I'll bet on Usyk. He is a very good all around fighter. He hits hard. Something is making his opponents fall down.
