I don't understand why they put Broner in there with someone as dangerous as Figueroa in Broner's first fight withe a new team/trainer and coming off a loss. They definitley needed a confidence builder before this fight after Broner's embarrassing loss to Mikey Garcia. I think they're already trying to cash him out or this was one of these cherry picks gobe totally wrong.

Mayweather effect except people actually get to see him lose every once and a while. I guess they are still waiting to see him get stopped.

And look at how long Mayorga was commanding paydays back in the day. Dude only took L's in big fights after Forrest iirc. But he kept getting big fights cuz he was a great villain to fight for these faces of boxing guys. Hell man Mosley even brought him in for his bs PPV fight in hopes he still had the ability to sell & while that PPV did sh^t numbers from all accounts imagine if old a$$ Mayorga wasn't involved.

But yea Broner isn't going anyway. Dude is gonna be a draw with 6 L's, 8 L's.
This... but I watch him to see if he can win and redeem himself. Something about self-destructive losers that I find endearing I guess.

Once you get a bid enough name you will always get shots.

Look at Zab Judah, constantly got big fights his whole career after multiple loss's.

Andre Berto, Amir Khan, the list goes on.

AB is like Khan, people tune in to watch him get beaten.

Like them or not, they are part of the game and good or bad they are getting paid.

Well, he is a charismatic personality with a crowd pleasing style who always come to fight. In addition, he is entertaining but also very unpredictable. However, most of all he is a controversial character and this is what piques the public interest about him the most. In other words, they are largely tuning in to see him lose.

I don't mind anyone getting fights, so long as they win and are competitive.

I hate it when guys like Broner and Rosado are continually given prime TV spots juts because they will lose in exciting fashion. I'd prefer it if those spots were given to guys that stood a chance to win.
