I know it was fury who entered the ring but Wilder was jiving and talking smack right back to him. Wilder was not intimidated. I was just replying to another when a reader on this board said wilder didn’t talk trash when fury and Klitschko were fighting.

Well he didn't, did he go to Germany during his 7/8 years of pro fighting when Wlad was fighting and called him out in the ring? Did he do the same to Fury or Haye? Nope he sat quietly, thats why i agree with that poster.

Fury as the unified champ was the one that went over to america to call Wilder out. And yes Wilder was intimidated on that night. Not scared but you can see he was intimidated because no one has ever done that to him before, with Fury screaming "There is only one Tyson Fury" and acting a fool.

he's not scared of making the fight. he was just scared of making it next. he knows wilder is the most dangerous fight. but also the most lucrative. hearn wants the fight, just wants to squeeze out another defense or two first. then you cash out vs. wilder and fight a rematch win or lose. possibly a trilogy.

That "intimidated" you WANTED to see but wasnt actually there, was generated by your idol worship for Joshua and the need u feel to rub Hayes toe. .....Wlad was on his way out, and use to spar with Wilder. I'm not the biggest AJ fan, and I do think Wilder might have levels that we haven't seen because he hasn't really been in the toughest fights, but

Because he would have established himself as the dominant force in the division. That's why. If he had done that, it would be AJ chasing Wilder, not the other way around. Wilder would have the bargaining power in the negotiations, not the other way around.

By letting AJ get to Wlad first, Wilder let AJ steal a march on him, and now Joshua has all the greatest momentum and bargaining power in the division. He's a megastar in the UK and arguably more famous in the US than Wilder is himself. Wilder allowed that to happen by not getting to Wlad first... which leads on to my next point.

Trying to argue that Wlad was washed up and would have been destroyed by Wilder only serves to show how poorly managed Wilder's career has been thus far. Whether that's down to a lack of confidence or rank ******ity is anyone's guess.

and as for your statement about Wilder wanting "Young Prime comp"

Those names are either old, unknown, or known to be terrible. It doesn't look like the resume of a 7 times defending world champion with 39 fights.

Seriously, I've not been posting long here, but I've found myself repeating this, DON'T TRY TO DEFEND WILDER'S RECORD. I don't know who will win between Wilder and AJ, because Wilder could raise his level to a level we've not seen before. I think he's one of those fighters who drops his level to the standard of his opposition sometimes (like Billy Joe Saunders and arguably Tyson Fury do) but if you throw him in there against AJ he might show his true level, which is what makes the fight so interesting.

But just DON'T try to defend his record. His record is s**t, and people who can't see that just look ****** or like they DKSAB imho.
