Lucas might just be content mentioning Manny's name.
Danny Swift is most likely thinking of retiring let alone rematch Matthysse.
Schaefer had a hard time making Swift sign up to the first fight.
He was offered $1 mil, but Garcia wanted $2 mil.
It was supposed to be a main and separate card until Richard found a solution by adding it to the Mayweather undercards.
Matthysse got $700K in that fight, btw.
And Garcia got what he wanted, $2 mil +.
So Matthysse need to stop mentioning Garcia.
It's useless.

Matthysse was arguably losing this fight. Good thing he still has a punch. He'll make a good b-side to anyone with skills. No way he beats any of the top guys.

Could care less about a Pacquiao fight. The Pacman needs to hang up the gloves as his time has come and gone. Like Pac but the ride is over for him as a top fighter. A Garcia rematch might spark some interest among serious followers of boxing but little at all to the casual fan.
Would rather see Matthysse take on a Crawford, or similar opponent next or perhaps offer up a warm up bout for Thurman since he claims he needs a couple fights before he considers fighting Spence. A fight with Crawford would offer Matthysse the opportunity to exact his ko loss to Postal who also lost a decision to Crawford. And since Crawfords move up in weight class, this would be a good opportunity for the both of them to test the waters a bit more in the division. Provided Crawford gets by Horn first.
