knockouts can tend to be flukes. Clear wins over 12 rounds aren't. How do you finger someone in the eye with fingerless gloves? It was a punch, stop making excuses.

it wasn't clear though...in fact lucas would have won on the cards if the knockdown wasn't counted and it shouldn't have been counted as garcia clearly rabbit punched him which made him fly between the ropes, but the ref was tony weeks so we know what his job is. theres video of garcia clearly pawing lucas in the eye and it immediately becomes a lot worse. you don't care though cause thats cool with you. once you have a guy hurt or injured its ok to break the rules. just look at ward-kovalev 2 lol. low blows don't matter he hurt him a minute earlier! oh hey tony weeks again shocker.

Haven't seen Bob's response yet. If Manny is no longer with Top Rank, of course fighting a Golden Boy guy becomes easy to make. How many guys have tried this before though, only for Bob to tie them up in litigation and kill the fight?

it's not cheating or illegal? then why was akwindade dq'd against lewis? i would suspect a lawsuit would be brought forth by him since they robbed him and he was just using it "wisely" i'll go with the rules over you no offense.

if you are good enough you should be able to overcome a guy who is cheating and gaining an advantage against you? well yea sure if you are leaps and bounds above him. if rob salka did it against garcia i dont think it would matter but when you have two guys on similar levels where the margins are so thin cheating helps a lot. its not fair to expect the guy not cheating to go above and beyond just to win. it saps your energy and stamina trying to get out of someone holding or leaning on you. why should you deplete yourself just to get back to even?

do not defend cheaters. its illegal and must be stopped. no more wlads, wards, akwindades, etc...in boxing. only fair fights. not who can clinch and use their a-side power most effectively to decide who wins. how about boxing?

Well since boxing doesn't have an commissioner it's up too the four belts to dictate if it's strategy or overbearing honestly. Now Ward clinches a lot, more than he really needs. Now is it illegal? Nah it's not. Is it cheating? Hmm I still doubt it. Does it make fights dull and boring? Hell yea. If I was an ref. If I feel like your trying to survive by clinching too much like Luís Arias vs Jacobs, I am taking points then throwing the fight out. I am on your side but it's case by case.
