Fanny will not get in the ring with Lucas again. I think he did not like the shots to the ribs first time around and it was a fluke that he won when he put his finger in Lucas's eyes.

Thanks. That’s the way I remember it. Good, competitive fight. Again, just going on memory, I thought Danny won, but I recall thinking the low blows and/or beltline blows should’ve been addressed. And if they had, maybe the outcome would’ve been different. Can’t speak on what the match-up might be like today, but based on the first fight, I don’t see why those two shouldn’t have at it again.

I don’t. Not saying he didn’t. Just don’t recall it. I remember Danny hitting at or below the belt many times. The ref never did anything. Frankly, I don’t blame Garcia, and Matthysse should’ve busted him in the nuts in retaliation. Danny won. It is what it is.

Crawford couldn't ko Postal and Postal got the ko victory over Matthysse. Besides what's the use of making a comeback in a career if you're not going to fight the best competition in the division?!? Otherwise Matthysse may as well limit himself to b/c level competition and reside in the gatekeepers corp of professional boxing. Matthysse isn't getting any younger either so he may as well go for the best fights with the best competition he can get while the options are still open to him. For Crawford, having Matthysse on his fight resume is another plus from a quality of competition view-point.

My memory is such nowadays that I can’t remember what I had for breakfast. I’m actually impressed with myself I remember as much as I do about this fight. Lol I also seem to recall the knockdown was pretty much the difference in this fight. It was close, but that put Danny over the top, a 10-8 round.
