I see Mathysse vs Garcia happening easily because unlike Pacquiao, Garcia have been ranked by WBA.
Also, the accolade of a rematch makes it interesting as they have a score to settle.

True. But I'm afraid that's all he's left with, as of now.

In recent times many people are judging Pacquiao exclusively by the Horn debacle, which was an aberration (and, ultimately, a robbery).

Someone with Matthysse's style, going right at him trying to knock him out, would probably meet exactly that fate. Right now I can't see how Matthysse beats Pacman. Even this old Pacman.

There were several times last night when Matthysse was being totally outboxed by Kiram. I have no reason to think that Pacquiao would not do the same to La Maquina.

So for me Pacman would win, either via KO or on points.

PS For Matthysse to have a "proven chin", knockdowns against Garcia and - especially - Postol are not exactly signs of sturdiness. Also, he looked very relieved after winning; most probably he was aware that he was going nowhere against an unknown opponent. In a word, I'm not sure anymore about Lucas's mental strength after having seen him quit against Postol.

I agree.

Garcia or Manny are the only fights that make any sense for lucas at this point.
