Would 98% pick them? And the fight was in Briedis home country. So even with Briedis having an advantage 98% still picked Usyk.

Would you rather go with the bookies? Usyk was an 1/8 favourite there too. Bigger favourite than Mayweather was against McGregor.

Trying to argue he wasn't a big favourite is ******ed.
By your example, does it mean that McGregor actually had those chances of winning which bookies gave?
FYI, I saw ~4.5 rate for Briedis, isn't this called 1/4 at best? They underestimated him anyways but we talked about members here. I'm from Ukraine but I never thought Usyk has sure chances to win. Actually he struggled with Hunter too for few rounds, he struggled with many fighters aside Glowacki and Huck. Yet he won all for now.

Fights are fought by two guys in the ring, not by couch TV-warriors, even if they are 98%, and the guys are just 2.
Trying to judge a boxing fight by how it meets expectations of 98% of some people is ******ed.
All of this 98% bllsht is ******ed.
Would you think of Usyk different if there were not 98% but 15% or 43,5% instead?
I must have been among the 2% of people who saw it as a turn of a card case, and I was impressed with the way Usyk dealt with the biggest challenge in his short pro career against a legit top rank contender. Only a ****** would expect from Usyk same domination as in his previous fights.
The fact that 98% of people on the forum thought otherwise does not change a damn thing. This whole lame argumentation has zero logic behind it and is just hilarious.

Fair enough! I haven't got a problem with that. I just feel if Usyk acclimates to the heavyweight division with a few tune up bouts, I can see him being the favorite to beat Wilder due to styles and skills. There's a huge gulf of difference in skill between Szpilka and Usyk and if Wilder takes 10 rounds to KO Szpilka, I don't think Wilder would be able to KO Usyk in 12 rounds. And Wilder just won't be able to win too many rounds against Usyk.

Wilder only needs to win one but as I sayed we can just agree to disagree because we are pretty far apart on this one.Szpilka IS bigger then Usyk and hits harder. But I will agree not as talented

Fair enough! I guess we will find out very soon since Usyk has plans on moving up to the heavyweight division very soon.

Usyk has bigger frame than Szpilka, and Szpilka only has 1cm of height on him.

If Usyk was to bulk up a little he would be bigger than Szilpka (Usyk wider shoulders, 2" reach advantage), but agreed on the power, Szpilka probably has more but we are talking about Wilder here...doesn't take much to get his legs to wobble.

Usyk does look very skinny, barely any chest, he's just not big at all at cruiser, I think he's a very solid 225lb at HW. He will still dance circles around guys.

But he has to get by Gassiev...and I've become skeptical lately in his fighting style since trainer change. Tripping over his own feet, taking too much time off in the rounds, missing tons of shots...I don't know...

Sounds like both too bad as cruser is a GREAT div with them in it.That I think we can agree on.

Well we might just have agree to disagree I don't see him beating Wilder or Joshua or Ortiz.Maybe Parker but I would prob pick Parker right now.He is not a great defensive fighter and don't believe his chin will hold. But we will see(unless Gass beats him up)because it sounds like BOTH will be moving up.Sucks crusier is a GREAT div right now.

One thing I got faith in is his chin actually. More so than anything else.....I hope I'm not proven wrong. He's been in with some giant men and he's taken shots flush.

I think he can improve his defense substantially with some good coaching, which he doesn't have at the moment. It appears to be he was much better avoiding shots in the past...Now he's bobbing his head with no rhyme or reason, which works but only so much.
