The fact is MAG isnt that bad, and if he can stay active and keep training he could make a serious name for himself, he was not seasoned at all and looked like an amateur fighting a true professional, and with that said a professional that many look ALITTLE to highly on, Mag needs to stay away from boxing for about 6-12 months and hit the weights and when he comes back he would hit a lot harder!
Bottom line is, Paulie fought the wrong fight, on purpose, to prove a point. Do any of you think that Cotto's footspeed is actually that close to Paulie's? Paulie stood in front of Cotto and fought him for what, at least 9 rounds of the fight, and after the 2nd or 3rd round he had to know he didn't have the pop to really hurt Cotto, and fought him anyway. He didn't start running because his pride wouldn't let him. Some of you guys calling for him to retire and saying that he isn't cut out for the sport are some of the same ones that were saying that Cotto would break him apart to the body and KO him before the fight was halfway finished. Fact is, Malignaggi finished a fight that Cotto will never have the heart to finish. One where he is outweighed by 15 lbs., and is outgunned from the start. Cotto would never have the balls to stand in front of a guy he KNEW he couldn't hurt, and that had the power to hurt him, and still try to punch with him for 3/4 of the fight. Cotto has always been the bigger man, let's see what he does when he fights where he belongs. I know this sounds like nuthugging, but a fighter did a very courageous thing in that fight and it seems very few are acknowledging it. Everybody's on Cotto's nuts for having the easy part of the load, again.
lets see he broke his hands quite a few times, talks to much but has nothing to back it up with, and did u see the swelling of his jaw when Cotto was DONE with him, this italian is better off delivering pizza LMFAO
He's Bad for boxing coz his surname are so hard to spell..
