are you talking about the combos that had no effect at all on cotto? the only thing paullie did was frustrate cotto by dancing around and being scared to stand and fight him. thats the only time he got frustrated. paullie never stood a chance from the minute the bell rang and it was obvious. it sucks fighting a guy you know can hurt you, knowing that you cant hurt him

Granted the combinations didn't hurt Cotto much.

However, from a boxing standpoint, at certain times in the fight he did make Cotto look... rather... bad. I don't think you can deny that.

I could deny it, Paulie may have looked much faster AT TIMES, but I dont see how Cotto looked bad. I will say that at times he was sleepin out there.

Especially in the middle rounds with Paulie was landing big combinations square on Cotto's nose, not giving Cotto the chance to even punch back. Paulie even wobbled Cotto with a left when he came in.

ive watched the fight 3 times already and Cotto was NEVER hurt by malignaggi.

Ive watched that punch several times, Paulie did not send him off balance, he caught Cotto while Cotto was off balance. Huge difference.

I disagree partially, Bernstein knows his boxing, the other guy didnt know too much. I never even heard of him before. Being that you seem to be the biggest fan of Miguel, were you surprised on how the fight turned out?

Yes, I was surprised that Pauli was able to take so much punishment, even with all the holding that he did.
