Manny would have gotten demolished back then. 135-40 was Floyd's best weight. I think Pac has a much better chance of whooping Floyd's ass right now.

135 was the first time we saw Pacquaio fight in a style that was designed to keep himself from getting busted up. It would have been interesting at 135, 140 or 147 I think.

I think at 135 Floyd was one the most amazing light weights I have ever seen.

Back then Pac was a one hand fighter. I think his chances at 147 are much better.

Seriously man....you honestly think calling out a guy who barely moved up to 130 had any substance behind it, esp. when your at WW? Come on man, even you know this is b.s. Also his call out of Hamed and Casa were b.s also for obvious reasons. I mean I can name a list of times when he has done this, but it's documented for those willing to do the research. This instance is one of them.

Now am I saying each and every time it's b.s. from Floyd....no, but this article along with countless others were.

The first time Pacquiao acted like he had a right hand was against David Diaz at 135.

I also think it's concerning how Floyd reacted to Castillo coming right at him. Imagine someone coming right at him with speed. People like to act like Mayweather dominated Castillo, but the rematch was still one of Floyd's top 5 hardest fights in my opinion.

The biggest problem with 35 for Floyd against Pacquiao is that Pacquaio was fully grown and very mature when he got there... Mayweather was still learning, hence the way he took care of Hatton at 147 who came right at him, compared to how he took care of Castillo at 135 who was coming right at him.

Am not talking about this article because i never remember Mayweather wanting to fight Pac back in 2006, I can only talk about things that i know about and all i know is Mayweather called out Hamed because he wanted a fight and a great Payday he even had a fight with HBO because he thought they pay Hamed a lot of money for someone that isnt american and thats one of the reason he wanted to fight Hamed...If you want prove try and read Frank warren's book or Naz's book and they both talked about how Mayweather was chasing them for a fight.

Casamayor was called out but the fight didnt happen for various reason and i believe he went on to fight Castillo twice so your point about casa is a mooted point--Again it takes two to tango and you of all people should know that.

I knew it, floyd wanted pacquiao when he was still 130lbs and floyd was 147lbs, he wants pacqiuao to go up from 130lbs to 147lbs just like what he did to marquez but now that pac can make 147 easy he doesn't want it anymore.

Bro...I understand what you are saying. Of course Floyd wanted Hamed because he was the cash cow (along with Oscar) back then. The reason it had no substance was because Floyd knew Hamed was tied up, due to HBO trying to put together a Morales, Barrera, Tapia and other fights for the Prince.

This is why I used the analogy of Bute calling out a super 6 guy. You honestly think that by him saying he wants Dirrell or Ward, when he knows the company has plans for him with other fighters (super 6 tourney) would hold any weight?

Also to add to that..he wanted Hamed to come up to 130 (rumored 128), but how you gonna call out the cash cow and try to make him fight at a weight he is arguable too small for (Hamed was only 5'3" or 5'4" and 126 was clearly as high as he could go)

This is like Pac calling out Robert Guerrero to fight at 135 right now.

I totally agree with you, I alway hear how Mayweather won the rematch easily but i didnt see that at all, I thought he won the fight but struggled in that fight also, This is why i liked a prime castillo..
