All that would prove is that a great 130 pound champion would be ****** to fight a great 147 pound boxer at 147 pounds or even at 140 pounds.

How are you guys just happy to accept that the fights not gonna happen because 'it might be difficult to do business'. so thats that then? No pressure on crawford to fight either of the top guys? Big fights generally get made if the two fighters want it, history has shown that. You guys sound more like politicians than boxing fans lol 'ooo negotiations might be tough, ooo it might take time and be tricky' well from now theyve got almost a year to get things provisionally agreed.

I like Spence vs Crawford down the road from Crawford vs Porter and Spence vs Thurman. That's if they win!
I want to see Khan vs Brooks so that one of them can retire then the other gets KO'd against Errol or Bud then he retires.

ps; stop saying Errol is a "huge welter" he is a "normal sized" welter. The past few years other than Brooks the rest have been lightweight size midgets.

The Promoter feud makes for more hurdles compared to Thurman/Porter/Garcia/etc.

But also, and most importantly, the verdict is still out on what Bud is going to look like at 147.

After he fights Horn we'll see what the consensus is though

its called being realistic, crawford has already said he wants to clear out 147, as has spence

Everyone knows TC is stuck with Bob and his lame ass Top Rank roster. Hes not gonna fight any of the welters under Al. If Arum has his way, TC and Horn will fight eachother like 3 times.

I'll be happy if the fight gets made, but I won't call him a coward or other lame names if it doesn't. A fighter should have a right to 2 tuneups/acclimatory fights when permanently moving up in weight. It's smart and healthy.

Also, let's not act like Horn is Alexander Brand. Horn is severely flawed and is obviously not elite, but he's an absolutely legitimate top 10 WW who is big for the division. Horn just beat Pac. No matter how disputed the win, or how far away Pac is from prime, this is still a guy who embarrassed Vargas and Bradley.

Taking on Horn is a GREAT first fight for Crawford. Depending on how he looks, he may take another interim fight before taking on one of the big champs at WW.
