i see that josesito lopez has a fight coming up on march 10 against a guy with a 25-19 record, in an 8-round bout. i could maybe see thurman fighting him. might be too risky though lol

Jessie Vargas in an interview stated he would "Like" to fight Thurman next...thats how it all started
      This fight was never official
Whoever started this ****** rumor should be slapped in the face hard.

Everyone knows Vargas is no tuneup for any PBC fighter. I doubt Broner would fight Jessie. Garcia would avoid him, so will Berto, Porter, Thurman, etc.

The rumor even had a date.

I pray that when Thurman rematches either Porter or Garcia that Thurman wins cause if he loses you can guarantee a 3rd fight would be next and it would give them a reason not to fight Spence

This is standard marinating bs that I'm against whoever is pushing it its usually not the fighter pushing it so hard is maybe the one thing that stands out here. Usually the fighter is playing hot potato with the question to push it towards the promoter or the other fighter. This cat is just saying "yea that biggest fight to make at 147 right now...I don't want that fight". F#ck that bs.
Yeah, I feel you. But he's just being honest. He must first test out the elbow in a tuneup, than fight Porter or get stripped. There's no way around these two fights. That will book all of 2018 and will push the Spence fight to next year.

Exactly when DSG goes and fight Rios just because he coming off a lost, that he thought he won...But then again it's Cherry Garcia

"I" always try to look at the top fights as closer than they probably are. Wishful thinking on my part, hoping for a great fight but we all know (Thurman) included what those bodyshot are going to do.

Hopefully he proves us wrong and put up a fight.

This is actually the wise approach. I learned that with GGG v Canelo. Until they're in the ring, you never really know.
