Lol why are you so mad? Yes, sucks that he only fought twice in the past 3 years, but he had an elbow surgery and besides, most PBC fighters have long layoffs. His last 2 fights were Porter and Garcia--- were Spence more Deserving than those 2 when he fought them? No. He clearly fought the 2 most Deserving fighters at the time. NOW he needs to test the elbow, so it's only right he gets a tuneup fight. Then after that he has to satisfy his mando or get stripped, so he'll fight Porter. After the Porter rematch I expect the Spence fight to go down.

I don't think its his activity as much as his words & seemingly lack of desire to make THE FIGHT at 147 this year. Its January ffs & this half a **** looking mfer is talking about 2019 for what would be one of the biggest fights this year & potentially the best fight of the year.

This is standard marinating bs that I'm against whoever is pushing it its usually not the fighter pushing it so hard is maybe the one thing that stands out here. Usually the fighter is playing hot potato with the question to push it towards the promoter or the other fighter. This cat is just saying "yea that biggest fight to make at 147 right now...I don't want that fight". F#ck that bs.

thurman has reached the point of his career where he realizes this boxing sht is a business. he had the same mentality spence has not too long ago. and lets not forget thurman was blatantly ducked by maidana, malignaggi, khan and mayweather.

thurman not motivated by bragging rights anymore. he just wants to keep making money and that means keeping his belts by any means. and if that means not facing spence for another two years he'll take it.

who knows maybe even spence starts making business moves real soon.

Pbc blew through 600 million dollars and have barely any money left which is why all Pbc fighters are inactive including Thurman. Even Spence only fought once last year. Then when they do fight its usually against bums. Pbc is a joke. Spence is better off going to Top Rank where he could fight 3x a year and Bob will get him good fights.

Also everyone should realize that what these Pbc guys call business moves are actually detrimental to their career. Mimey Garcia said recently its all about the right fights at the right time abd now he is fighting the weakest champion. You cant fight once a year against bums that is not smart business. Look how quickly Arum launched Crawford and Loma to the top. That was due to giving them 3 fights a year and quality opponents. Pbc fighters suck at business

thurman faced garcia and porter back to back. that sht is impressive. so I dont get why ppl so quick to call him scared or a coward smh. and spence just fought peterson who I wouldn't categorize as a "bum". it looks like spence will get his 3 fights this year too. pbc has a deeper roster than top rank so why jump ship.
