Let me get this straight. You're basing this synopsis on the fact that Mike kayoed a 38 year old Larry Holmes who was coming off a two year layoff?

Have you ever seen the Snipes or Weaver fights? How about Shavers II?

A prime Larry Holmes would've taken Mike Tyson to school and quite possibly stopped him in the second half of the fight. If Buster Douglas could knock Tyson out.....well.

Is it really heresy to suggest that “The Easton Assassin” not only measures up to these two titans; but, quite possibly, surpasses them? [details]
I tell you what, Holmes should be in everyones top five..the dude defended his title what seems like a billion times...wiping out any and everything that got in his path..My favorite KO was of Frazier's son...straight to the dome and dropped that boy early in the fight...Holmes was the truth.....

Right Now...this is my AT Top Ten Heavyweights:

          1. Muhammad Ali
          2. Joe Louis
          3. Larry Holmes
          4. Jack Dempsey
          5. Rocky Marciano
          6. Mike Tyson
          7. Lennox Lewis
          8. Jack Johnson
          9. Joe Frazier
          10. George Foreman

It's always subject to change; and maybe I do need to really re-examine my top 2.

Holmes was very underrated, no doubt. He's in my Top 10.

Obviously we differ in a few areas; but overall that's a good list, bro....very good list. I got to give you kudos for having Frazier at #4. I used to have him at 6 and am debating whether or not to move him back up. I gotta helluva lot of respect for Frazier. My list is always in flux.
