I could see Ward moving up to cruiserweight and challenging one of the top guys like Vinnie Carita for a vacant world title. A little down the road. But if you think about it, it makes all the sense in the world.

Usyk is already a bigger draw in Europe than Ward is in America - which isn't saying much, tbh. If he wins the WBSS he'll be even bigger.

Usyk vs Ward won't happen. After seeing the way Kovalev was ripped off and cheated out of his titles, Usyk would be insane to give those crooks a chance to do the same thing to him.

Ward is done. Forget about him.

How fast do you need to run from somebody who wants to fight you "sometime next year, after a couple more tune-ups"?

            Based on what?

He has to travel to his opponents as the B side. He isn't a draw at all.

super six was 2009. if your theory is true that they let him have home fights to make him a star then its obvious the "plan" failed so why try to make him a star again vs kovalev? and remember ward wasn't even the favorite in the super six. what exactly did they see in him to concoct this "make him a star" plot? when the tournament started I actually picked dirrell to win. why didn't "they" try to make dirrell a star instead?

the whole theory of american judge bias is bull**** and u know it.

in 2010 kovalev was awarded a split decision vs darnell boone. in boone's hometown. in a fight kovalev was dropped (some articles even said he was dropped twice). where was the american favoritism then?? why would american judges give a russian a razor thin win over the american boone? if your theory of american judge bias holds weight kovalev will lose that fight.

              you theory crumbles right there.

you cannot claim ward is a nobody with no fans and in same breath say he had judges in his pocket. sht makes no sense. wouldn't it be smarter to fix the fight for the KO artist kovalev?

I can make a stronger case for judge favoritism during ggg-jacobs. there was no way in hell judges were gonna ruin a big money clash of ggg-canelo. that theory actually actually holds weight.

If he is smart and reasonable, he'd go for the Charr/Oquendo winner. That's a fight he could realistically win and be able to grab a belt at HW. Joshua on the other hand kills him, like, literally kills him

I didn't figure he would retire that young. He has a shot I reckon against some CW but he would get bullied by the giant HW and beaten badly. You won't find a bigger Roy Jones fan than me but he picked the perfect guy to take his strap at HW. That doesn't diminish in my eyes what he did but it is what it is and Ward is no Roy Jones

Nobody (apart from Golovkin fans) recognises the regular belt as a legit title.
