Never understood comments like this. If you don't like a fighter just don't watch. Nobody is forcing you to. Why do they have to retire?

He pulled up Golovkins skirt and exposed him.

He beat the so called Krusher.

Now he's going to take Usyk to school.

Eastern euro fans really hate this guy.

roy was somewhat popular doing 600k ppv buys against ruiz and 300-400 against tarver. ward did 150k....

roy always won fair and square and when he committed a foul by hitting a guy when he was down, he was dq'd. ward is known as the dirtiest fighter around with many controversial wins/fights. he wins fights by nonstop clinching, headbutting, and low blows. roy would piss on him.

ward even tried to copy roy's style early in his career and fight with hands down but that didn't work when guys like boone and kost lit him up and almolst ko'd him. from then on it was the safety clinch...

now he wants to move up to heavy like roy did but if everything goes according to trend he will do it in a fu-cked up way that leaves no one happy but himself and his delusional look the other way fans
          Exactly!!!

Lol. If you want another bout similar to Rigondeaux vs Lomachenko, then please feel free to promote and call for a Usyk vs Ward bout and see Ward get beat just as bad, if not worse than how Lomachenko beat Rigondeaux.

Obviously, the most likely outcome if Usyk beats Ward will be: "Oh he was bigger in size, heavier and a weight bully" to discredit the victory. Since that's what you were doing after Lomachenko beat Rigondeaux.

Usyk vs Ward at cruiser weight will be a similar mismatch if it happens and if you aren't going to give Usyk much credit as you didn't when Lomachenko beat Rigondeaux, then don't call or ask for this bout to happen in the first place.

Ward is disliked mainly by GLOBAL / INTERNATIONAL BOXING FANS (not necessarily Eastern Euro fans only) because he isn't willing to compete outside of his home country. He didn't compete against a single top level opponent outside of USA whilst Usyk has beaten multiple undefeated boxers or former champions in just 12 bouts in their own backyward. I'd state that the 'dislike' is very much justified against Andre Ward.

You seem to fail to realise that fighters get respect from real boxing fans for trying to do something great. I'd rather see Ward move up and try to beat the man at CW than retire without.

As with Rigondeuax this fight would be more about Ward than Usyk. Lomachenko was and Usyk would supposed to beat the smaller guy moving up. That's what would make them great wins, overcoming the disadvantage.

This is what fans wanted Golovkin to do and fight Ward.

Are you a boxing fan? Do you want to see fighters try to do great things?

Yes, I've criticized Golovkin for supposedly avoiding / ducking Andre Ward. However, you can't push for a bout and only give one boxer credit for potentially winning and not the other guy. That's hypocritical and a display of double standards!

If Ward decides to move up to cruiser weight, makes the appropriate weight correctly and Usyk beats Ward. Then you can't discredit Usyk's potential victory over Ward after initially calling for the bout to take place. You can't claim:

                    1) I will give Ward credit if he beats Usyk.

                    2) But I won't give Usyk much credit if he beats Ward.

Otherwise, if you're not ready, willing and prepared to give both boxers equal credit. Then don't call for this bout to take place in the first place. Simple as that!

                      Of course you can.

The other guy is moving out of his natural weight and fighting the other fighter at a disadvantage. The bigger guy doesn't get much credit because he supposed to win with his advantages. It's not hard to understand.

Smaller guy overcoming disadvantages and winning = great win.
Bigger guy beating smaller fighter = that's what supposed to happen.
