roy had charisma. ward is named droopy for a reason.

roy had exciting fights. ward is known as the most boring fighter around.

roy was somewhat popular doing 600k ppv buys against ruiz and 300-400 against tarver. ward did 150k....

roy always won fair and square and when he committed a foul by hitting a guy when he was down, he was dq'd. ward is known as the dirtiest fighter around with many controversial wins/fights. he wins fights by nonstop clinching, headbutting, and low blows. roy would piss on him.

ward even tried to copy roy's style early in his career and fight with hands down but that didn't work when guys like boone and kost lit him up and almolst ko'd him. from then on it was the safety clinch...

now he wants to move up to heavy like roy did but if everything goes according to trend he will do it in a fu-cked up way that leaves no one happy but himself and his delusional look the other way fans

I didn't talk about Joshua, but that is a fight that will happen when hell freezes over. No way Ward goes to the UK. It's just not going to happen.

The only way Ward would return is as a heavyweight. For whatever reason Ward decided to retire instead of facing Superman. The only way I see him coming back is to try and do something truly remarkable. And I wouldn't count Ward out against anyone, not even AJ or Wilder. The problem could be Wilder-Joshua happening and Wilder winning. I don't have a lot of trust in Jay Z's company working with Haymon who was sued by Beyoncé a long, long time ago. We shall see. I know I hope to see him come back and fight Joshua or Wilder. I would pay to see that, and there aren't too many fights I'd pay to see.

Think about it though, Ward with his inside game, smothering AJ's punches while landing his own. If he could make it ugly and stay inside, he would probably be able to score rounds. But could Ward avoid a ko shot from Wilder or AJ? I mean, their punches could ko anyone, and we are talking about a guy who probably should be fighting at 168. I just know I really want to see him try.

Board is only been disappointing. He had such great skill and promise at one time in point. His unfinished business is with Sergey. If he returns that's the only person I'd like to see him go up against at the moment. The heavyweight division would destroy him and and his career. Yeah he has a lot of skill to Outbox a lot of people. But he would need to take a Blow by people weighing 50-60 lbs heavier.
