I dont know about that??? Be a good fight. Dont forget GGG was suppose to beat Canelo easily also.

Canelo has much better head movement by far than Peterson. And hits much harder as well. If they exchanged blows Spence would get rocked.

Spence might win and he might not. Thats why they fight. Lets see how he does against someone a lil better. Lets not forget Peterson had a SD with Khan and Canelo almost killed him. As well as Matty not needing even close to 8 rounds...

Spence is a huge 147 fighter, he won`t stay in division for long, so let`s hope he fights Thurman and maybe Porter or Garcia before he moves up.

We could see Spence - Crawford in the future , but at 154.

Exactly even though it's a fight many expected him to win, he looked sharp and didn't get thrown off his gameplan when Lamont picked up the pace. Even though he has a belt nobody good is going to step in that ring with him except C level mandatory fighters.

He was hurt by Lartey and but he handled himself well until he recovered.

It should be noted though that the timer was totally unprofessional and allowed the round to go on for 5 minutes instead of three, and Spence had been working vigorously in that round offensively.

No doubt he was drained coz he went all out for 5 min instead of three.

I'm a Spence fan and I don't think it'll be wise for him to step up to face Canelo yet. Could he win yes but Spence style kind of plays into Canelo hands. Another thing Lamont caught Spence clean a few times in that fight I can only imagine if that was Canelo landing a clean punch like that it would probably be night time for Spence. He should just focus on the 147 division first.

That was a glorified sparring session for Spence.Clearly he's the best in the division and PBC will continue to hide their fighters from him. He's just too good.

He is very strong and one of the biggest guys in division. if I was him, i would stay at 147, but he will have very hard time to keep this weight.

Well, I doubt he will be so good at 154. There is a very big difference between fighting at 147 or 154.

100% agree. And thats the 1st think i thought about as well. Spence style plays into Canelo's. Could he win??? Yes, but it would take a lot of rounds to break Canelo down and at the same time getting hit at times cleanly. Im with you. Conquer 147 then move up to 154 see how that works out. Then in a couple of years see where each other is at.

EXACTLY. And even WORSE of a gap at 160 like we recently saw 2 Welterweights try and got SMASHED to pieces for it.
