I think he'd get dropped jumping in by one of those jabs, or a solid right hook because porter likes to drop his head to the left lunging in. I don't think Shawn would win one round.

smoger, who usually let fighters keep fighting, saved peterson that night, don't know why. if you watch kirkland-tapia for example, he almost let tapia die in there lol

      • Extremely impressed once again by Errol. He is ruthless, constantly punching hard to the body, chopping the trees down. Seems like a solid chin, a little exploitable, but it seems Errol can get dragged into a fight, if he feels he can take the punches. Peterson did well, but the young man was too much for even a seasoned veteran. I think there's many years ahead with Errol playing a star role.

Great post. The only people calling for a guy to move up in weight when he's not ready, are fans of the other fighters in his weight class...not actual boxing fans though.

Yep. That fight is where the "Spence has no chin," stuff came from.

Crawford wants to fight Spence, period. Thurman unified at 140, and you think he's going sit at 147 with one belt, and not attempt to fight the guy with the other 3 (assuming Spence beats Thurman)?

Crawford's a throwback, and not picking who wins, but there is absolutely no way he let's Arum or anybody else prevent him from trying to unify. He's not arums puppet, at least from what i see and hear from him.

          Great post.

I was saying last night that I didn't get any of the Easter hype. He has not impressed me in any of his fights.

The result was inevitable but why does nobody seem to care about the multitude of low blows by Spence?

Fans like yourself make me sick. You go get in the ring and take that kind of beating and then come back and say how tough you are.

You're making things up. Never did I criticize Peterson for quitting, I criticize showtime and Hunter for acting like Peterson wanted to keep going so badly when he actually quit.

But in a post-fact world this isn't popular. We like to pat Peterson on the head for his good effort and warrior mentality. No, he quit because he got his ass kicked and didn't stand a chance. Say it how it is.

Then this joker made a thread about Spence being on PEDs and acting like he'd kill Peterson when Peterson is the one who actually took PEDs and got caught. Now he got his ass kicked, quit and is a tough warrior who needs to be protected. GTFO

I know you're reaching but let me help you out.

He was warned every time. He got a hard warning after like the 3rd time. He didn't do it after that. The ref was actually good.

                • #ManDownBrigade!!!!!!! None of the top ww are gonna wanna get in the ring with Errol. Crawford would but Bob's not about to let that happen with Errol under Al.

So if I'm Errol, and want to stay busy, but have the entire world talking about me at the same time with legit fights, what I do is this:
                  1. Challenge them all(as he's done).
                  2. Schedule ALL of their mandatories as my tune ups fights for the calendar year of 2018.
                  3. Call them out after beating the ever-loving dogsheit out of each of they mandos.
                  4. Repeat the process again in 2019 before moving to 154.

I would love it if the Kid and his team did this. In my mind it'd be completely epic and throwback as all hell(Jack Johnson type sheit).

                  What ya'll think?

                    • Spence is a vicious body puncher and rumors are Canelo doesn't like it to the body plus he has stamina issues. I can see Spence giving Canelo huge problems in a few years if they fight. Not saying he would win but it would be a war..
