Couldn't have said it better myself. If wilder actually beats Ortiz, which I doubt then 65/35 would be OK but no higher cause remember you'll have 3 belts against one. No way in hell the guy with one belt and is the lesser draw gets a 50/50 split.

Most boxing fans are so dumb, they might fall for what Hearn said.
Hearn and Joshua act like Wilder would steal their money when he wants a 50/50 split. The money is generated by the fight. Two fighters in the ring, should always be 50/50.
Promoters not only stealing their own fighter's money but also the money of the opponents. **** them, go to hell, get a real job.
Or just say "I don't want AJ to fight him" and make a rematch with Whyte or fight Browne and steal their money because they have to agree. But with several of those fights Joshua makes less money on his terms than with one 50/50 split with Wilder.Last edited by TheUntouchable; 01-21-2018, 02:31 AM.

So Berto vs Mayweather should have been $17.5m each??! So Berto would have got 17x his previous career high and brought pretty much zero marketability to the fight.
Unless, you have two fighters with the same amount of paying fans, like GGG vs Canelo, there is an A and B side. The A side can selltickets 3x over and pulls in PPV against anyone. The B Side would love the fans but doesn’t have them yet so takes a hair cut on the dollars to get the exposure and usually is the challenger.

Nobody would pay for Mayweather shadowboxing.
