Don't think it's underrated at all, it's regarded as probably the best era after the 70's.

I think the 90's is slightly overrated but it was a much more popular era than now. Think about it but purses from that era are larger than most heavyweight fights now.
Tyson was past his peak through out the era but in the early 90's the skills erosion was evident but the physical erosion wasn't.
In the early 90's most the top contenders were Americans but by the end of the era you had many foreigners and Vitali had just planted the K2 flag.

Yea it was definitely a funner era with more memorable characters thats for sure. I don't like to get into **** measuring eras against each other much beyond my personal entertainment with an era, but I enjoyed the 90's HW's a lot more than post-90's HW's.

This era would have a heart attack . lol
I can confidently say this era is vastly stacked right now , wait until 2 years from now with the emergence of Dubois , Sirenko , Morrison , Hrgovic , Gormon etc ........these are high level DANGEROUS fighters in their own way .Possibly Usyk .......though i have doubts how his power carries over .
Very strong era developing .
The 90's era really is a map out of this one. I really think this will be the most formidable group . I dont believe there have beenso many olympic stand outs either all at once ?
One of my favorite fights on tuesday night fights was Golota vs Samson Pa'uha , when Golota bit that guys neck and rallied back with his white trunks covered in blood ...these are the characters which made the 90's great . lol
