Al Haymon & Co. dictate what the fighters do, Haymon's team presents the fights to the fighters teams. The fights will be made wheter these fighters like it or not. I like Errol A FCKIN LOT but i don't buy for one second that Thurman, Danny & Porter are scared of him. The fights haven't happened because Al Haymon hasn't decided to make them just yet. Look at the recent past, Haymon has already made Thurman vs Garcia and Thurman vs Porter. He also sent Spence all the way to the UK to fight Brook. You have to be a damn fool to think that Haymon is going to let the opportunity of having an undisputed 147 champion slip away, he WILL make the fights we all want, he's done it before and he will do it again. Right, in the fact that those fights happen when Haymon's bosses (CBS and SHOWTIME) get tired of paying their top tier guys to fight Brandon Rios, and demand certain fights.

You're wrong, if you don't think Haymon reached out to Team Porter and Garcia about fighting Spence, and they turned it down, and Spence is flat out lying. You think he sat on the shelf for 6 months waiting for Lamont Peterson?

How is it a good deal if he won't have ANYONE to fight? What WW are GB promoting? He's getting paid 3M for this fight with Peterson.

Part of the reason he is nearly 30 years old and his best fight is against Kell Brook is because he has no promoter backing him. Nobody marketing him and increasing the Reward/Risk ratio.

In other words, he's fighting Lamont "fringe WW" Peterson ( A LARGE STEP BACKWARD FROM BROOK ) because only boxing people know about Spence. He's LOW REWARD.

KTFO Cotto - which Spence would've done - would help BIG TIME in terms of marketing. And he calls out Ca$hnelo? He would lose that fight, but again - MARKETING.

You are saying that Haymon "bosses get tired of paying their top tier guys to fight Brandon Rios" and i ask you, wich company/network is giving you big fight after big fight? Don't fool yourself, you know no one is doing it. Every promoter does lesser fights in between the big ones and the networks roll with it because it's just the way the business goes and it makes sense for the fighters too because imagine how hard would be on them to be on though fights all the time, they all need tuneup bouts.

Now about Spence sitting on the shelve, i believe something went wrong with Al Haymon business in 2017 because it is completely unacceptable to have a new crowned champion sit out the entire year. It just doesnt make sense, it must of been really frustrating for Spence to be there with no fights on the table but he wasn't alone, a few other Haymon fighters where inactive in 2017 too. To think that Errol Spence Jr did not fight again in 2017 because everyone was scared is some fairy tale sht, Al Haymon could of easily gotten one of the Phil Lo Grecos of the world to fight Spence but he didn't. I don't know what happened but i really hope 2018 brings more fights from the Haymon camp, i dig all the fights they have schulded so far. Tomorrow night is going to be really exciting.

he would have made more money fighting cotto who's a big name and he would have won and gotten another belt spence is a 154 pound fighter anyway so moving up is no big deal. options don't last forever. dumb move by spence.

Dumb move because he doesn't want to give options...he like to control his own destiny. Spence is a 147 lber...he's never missed weight so until he does, we can't call him a 154 lber, same goes for Thurman.
