Agree on that point. It's a joke fight. It must be a Staples? All three of them are running scared. Yeah Thurman is hurt, but he was talking 2019 lol Garcia is better at making excuses than Floyd imo and that's saying a lot. And Porter acts like Keith has the only belts. Why not go get your IBF belt back? We know why. It's disgusting. But I have a feeling they'll be forced to fight him.

I disagree. That fight would've required him to move up. That's not smart for a young fighter who's having no issues at his weight. Spence has a big frame that kind of move could cause unnessacry problems making weight.

Not to mention the promotional jam he'd be in. He wouldn't get to fight any top WW being with GBP.

I am very surprised that Porter (Thurman & Garcia doesn't surprise me at all) declined a shot at Spence Jr.! Maybe it was the IBF weight rules? Even then, that's a weak excuse! Why wait for Thurman to have elbow surgery and a tune-up, when Spence Jr. was available?

spence isn't getting the fights at 147 this year either thurman isn't fighting him this year garcia and porter wont either. spence jr missed out big time by not taking the cotto fight.

The writing is on the wall. They know how the story ends. That's why. You'd think a guy like Garcia, who's had a tremendous career with no where to go from 147, would show more heart. Porter knows he can move up, he fought above WW as an amateur at times. You'd still think he'd jump at an IBF opportunity.
