Kenichi Ogawa's win against Tevin Farmer became even more su****ious Thursday. Ogawa's win was already considered controversial because Farmer out-boxed him, only to lose a 12-round split decision December 9 in Las Vegas. The Nevada State Athletic Commission revealed Thursday during its monthly meeting that Ogawa, who won the then-vacant IBF super featherweight title by defeating Farmer, has been suspended for failing a test for performance-enhancing drugs.

Kenichi Ogawa, who controversially outpointed Tevin Farmer to win a vacant junior lightweight title on Dec. 9, was suspended Thursday by the Nevada State Athletic Commission for failing a his drug test. He tested positive for synthetic testosterone. If the commission finds him guilty in a hearing in the coming months the fight result would be change to a no contest and he would be stripped of the title.
