I suspect that's the real issue here. We saw this with Cotto in Texas too. Assuming the Latino market is easy to pull in that state seems to be a dangerous assumption.

The fight will be postponed and put on in a different location. Or we'll see it stacked with Garcia v. Lipnets and Omar v. Broner, possibly back in Texas.

I was curious to see how Garcia would do there in terms of tickets sold. Guess he isn't ready to crossover yet.

Yes, that would probably happen. That said, SHO/PBC IMO should've been prepared.

At least have an undercard JWW fight so if something happens to Lipinets you can salvage the main event. I get cancelling the show if the"star " gets hurt.

Wishful thinking. Thats 1 of the very few things I like about the UFC more than boxing, they can get a replacement the day of. In order for a high level boxer to fight a new opponent there would need to be weeks if not months of negotiations.

An anonymous source claimed he was getting 3.5 mill, just like the ananymous source for spences 3.5 mill against peterson but nobody will confirm which leads me to believe its just a rumor. How could they possibly pay that much when the fight wont even generate near that much? Dont believe the Pbc hype

The person who reported those numbers was Dan Rafael. So not sure how that's "PBC hype". Doubt the numbers are accurate, but you're acting like someone from Haymon's camp said it.
