This sucks because I was going to the fight. I will reach out to Andrew Zak (Lipinet's manager) to see if he has any inkling as to if this is truly postponed and when a new date will be known.

Wow, if it is the case that they are postponing this fight because they can't sell tickets... that is total bull****. I got tickets for the fight because we don't get too many high-production title fights in Texas. Mikey, if you can't sell out San Antonio, you got serious issues bro. I just looked on Ticketmaster and there are a lot of seats available at each price. That's no good.Comment

The fight will be postponed and put on in a different location. Or we'll see it stacked with Garcia v. Lipnets and Omar v. Broner, possibly back in Texas.
I was curious to see how Garcia would do there in terms of tickets sold. Guess he isn't ready to crossover yet.Comment

All that PBC talk is nonsense. They've built up some solid brands that people are interested in now. Spence, Thurman, both Charlos, Wilder, Jacobs, Jack, etc. There's a solid list of guys operating at the top of their respective divisions with good visibility for boxers.
That's not really debatable at this point.Comment
