Tevez and Di Maria run non stop. They don't take breaks or wait for service. The back track and mark the ball, and then do lung bursting runs to attack the opposition, and then back again when the ball is lost.
There's no way Ronaldo does more running. He's the best (he and Messi), but when it comes to stamina and work ethic (during a game), no one does more than those two.
Ronaldo sits at 9.28 km per match (March 2017), neither Tevez nor Di Maria will beat him by a mile. And again, they sprint less. Tevez must be a joke anyway, he is not even playing at a half-decent level anymore.

I don't know Canelo's training habits but if he doesn't keep working on his stamina between camps he will never be at his best. No matter who he works with.

Of course you can work on it to make it better, but if the opponent is working just as hard as you for stamina, then it all comes down to who has more natural stamina. That's why you can have two marathon/long distance runners who train together but the other does better than the other.
