I think the loss to Pirog set Jacobs' career back a few years. Many people cited the personal circumstances in Jacobs life for why he lost. Who knows what would've happened if his mind was "right." Sadam Ali was lucky to get a championship fight so soon after a tough loss. He made the best of it against an injured Cotto. Anything can happen with Lubin but the way he lost, especially in his first step up fight and knowing that the guy that beat him will probably be there again. It's hard to imagine he comes back and beat the same guy who is a fairly young himself. I don't write him totally but ai can't agree he'll be alright without seeing how bounce back in his first fight. You could probably say the same thing about Julian Williams.

Yeah, it's retirement for him at this point. He'll never be the same, just hang em up and work a 9-5.
