The way Lubin went out was embarrassing... whats next for him???

Can he get 2 tune up fights and be back in contention for a title?

Or will that uppercut haunt him forever?

I read one poster say that he needs to take a year off, get 2 tune ups in 2019, then get in the mix again in 2020.

    Jesus.

Jermell knocked him 3 years in the future. (from the fight in 2017, to fighting for a title in 2020)

    To a whole new decade.

Lubin is still young i think with the loss Lubin becomes a monster nothing makes a fighter want it more than a loss. I see boxing golden age beginning in 2020 legends a plenty.

Hard to go far with a soft chin in boxing. He was also dropped by Norberto Gonzalez in 2014.

What happened to Erickson Lubin is the type of thing that happens when you play dueling pistols at the elite level between two prime fighters. He's gonna be alright.

Will take the time off that he needs, come back for 2-3 fights (to make sure that everything is okay), get lined up for another final eliminator, and take another shot at the top.

I compare it to when Oliver McCall Sparked a young Lennox Lewis, it is very similar actually:

I think Lubin will be fine, he got caught in a vulnerable position where he and most thought it was no way he would get clipped being that low but 100% Credit to Jermell Charlo

Lubin will be fine, I think he works his way back and become Champion but he has to really get active, fight 3-4 times this year then look to step up again maybe 2019. Even when you dip that low protect yourself, don't assume the ref will jump in quickly or that you can't be hit when you're that low.

It is NO WAY you expect a punch to land when you're this low so he let his guard down. Should've dipped and quickly came back up with a Clinch but instead he stayed down their. Lesson Learned!
