This is a solid 'tune up' for Keith. Obviously when two top 10 fighters square off "anything can happen", but the difference in this fight won't be Vargas' new-found power...it will be how he can handle Keith's crack. Ultimately it will be ring generalship. Keith will **** when he wants and box when he wants.

Being in any federations or experts top ten is not a prerequisite for being a top fighter, thats ridiculous.

Thurman is the harder puncher. It would be a good tune-up fight for Thurman.

For my money, Vargas has to be one of the most underrated fighters out there.
Stopped Sadam Ali. Nearly stopped Tim Bradley ...not bad for a fighter unfairly dismissed as not having a punch!!
There is nothing fancy about Vargas but he does alot of things well and gets the job done. For sure he is underrated. Fighters like him tend to be.

He can knock Thurman the *** out.

I'll put money on Vargas, but wouldn't be surprised if he beats Keith but gets robbed on the cards

Vargas has more ring intelligence than Swift and Porter IMO. Doesn't pack the physicality or power but he can play chess with Thurman... and if his power did improve, then he'll have a better shot.

He only fought slow ass Latino fighters....Imagine if any non-black fighter out there only had 38 yr. old Non-Juiced Shane Mosley and an OK Zab Judah on their resume every black fighter, reporter and fan out there would be screaming he never fought any good black fighters but since Floyd is black he gets a pass.

                    Vargas is a clown.

He's been obsessed with putting his opponents to sleep, ala Juan Manuel Marquez ever since Arum started mentioning Pacquiao as a potential opponent.

He then started training and putting it to work on Demarco. He nearly put Bradley to sleep. Finally succeeded on Ali.
