Cant blame the guy for nothing just keeps fightin top guys.More then a few writers/experts think he took harder fight. Not sure I agree with that but Bivol is deff a very tough opponent.Only part that bothers me is the fact his team seem to be dragging feet on PED issue. And why the A-side would not ask for it to begin with.I mean why would he trust Barrera always makes me wonder when A-side don't press for testing.Hate this era

This isn't that tough of a situation. Barrera is not going to be favored in either match, so he is taking his chances with the young lion who is stepping up. Barrera is easily the best competition Bivol will have fought. I like the kid, but he was basically handed the title when Ward retired. I think Barrera- a serious pro with no small set of skills- sees this as his best chance to position himself for a larger payday. If he can befuddle Bivol and get the title win, he would have given up a little cash in the short run and maybe position himself for a bigger one with a unification. He could even put off a fight with Kovalev and get a few paydays as a champ.
Worth the risk. Kovalev has the same "L" as Barrera, and Bivol is not named "WARD". I like Bivol to win, but I would not be shocked if Barrera pulls this off. He is not a scrub.Comment
