So another KHUNT claims another Eastern Euro fighter is on PEDS. You are a useless POS. Go watch TMZ. You are not a fight fan.

Of course you can blame, because even though it was 100K less, it's still more than he's getting against Bivol and it's against a more notable opponent.

I'm assuming Bivol is going to be the betting favorite. I am 100% putting some money down on Barrera

You forget to mention the fact that he would have to extend his contract with Duva. Why would he want that when she offered 100k less then last time and doesn't really have his best interest in him. She pretty much set up Barrera to fight Beterviev for less than 50k.

That's standard practice. When Tim Bradley or Jeff Horn wanted to fight Pacquiao, they had to sign a contract with Top Rank. Kovalev is still the biggest name for Main Events, so of course they want options when it comes to the lesser known fighters.

The reason he's getting 100K less is because Kovalev is the champion now and has way more leverage. So he's going to get paid more and Sullivan will get paid less. Before neither was the champ, and Sullivan should've accepted.

Of course he's gonna side with the lighter-skinned Soviet guy, huge shocker. Kovalev clearly has issues with POC, Stevenson, Ward, his own trainer. At least he stopped short of calling Barrera a monkey.

Duva can't afford to pay good fighters to fight Kovalev, only way Kovalev has gotten fights against Ward, Hopkins, Pascal, was because Kovlaev had to take way less money for those fights as the B side. Barrera has seen that Duva isn't looking out for his best interest and wants out.

That was the second time around, he could have taken the fight the first time for 300k, with a guaranteed 300k for a rematch had he beat kovalev, but decided not to. I hope he wins, or else he is in deep shyt.

Barrera is nothing special. If bivol is half decent he should beat him easily. That's a big 'if' though cause i can't see what the fuss is about yet.

That's why he didn't take the fight. 300k plus he would have to give Kovalev a rematch and still make the same amount of money? Who would be dumb enough to sign that contract. Duva works for Barrera too, she hasn't been looking out for him at all. She set him up to make around 50k to fight Beterviev with that low purse bid she made. I'm sure he sees how Kovalev has been getting screwed by the contracts she's getting him. BY the way, is Duva and Kovalev writing in the contract that they will give a rematch to their opponents?
