It's nearly the same and this is why we must watch fights and learn what we're looking at rather than just looking at boxrec. Ortiz does not fight tall like Wilder does. Wilder has the more EFFECTIVE reach. Ask yourself, "who is more likely to want to win a jab war?" Clearly Wilder because his stance and posture are such that he gets a lot of reach and can keep opponents at a distance.
Ortiz is a counter puncher. He fights more squared and stays almost coiled so he can strike when the opening is there. Hands are close to the chin, not pre-extended like Deontay.
This stuff isn't hard to see. You just gotta watch the fights and not think you can look at it on paper.Comment

That's what a fresh casual would say.
Dumb **** just like that
Ortiz' legs are long gone(Notice how top heavy he is)plus he'll be testing.
He'll be lucky to leave the ring with his life let alone his senses.
Old dude couldn't even lay hands on Malik Scott.
His balance is so bad he's just listing foreward...like a dead tree.
Soon as he covers up.....Wilder will blast him clean thru his guard.
Just watch.Comment
