Devon Alexander and Victor Ortiz will have an opportunity to draw a sizeable television audience for their upcoming welterweight fight. According to a Tweet by ESPN.com's Dan Rafael on Sunday, FOX will air Alexander-Ortiz on February 17 from the Don Haskins Center in El Paso, Texas. Alexander has this imo. I'm pretty sure Ortiz is punch drunk.

Nice crossroads fight. Alexander would do well to score the KO.

Why would fox waste money on This?
Save the money to pay other guys who have a future. Not two guys who have had their best days way behind them.

How can you judge whether it's a waste without knowing what they're getting paid?

A fight like this is how you create a challenger the public has heard of. Two former champions. The winner will go on to bigger things. The loser may not get another chance.
