But as far as the heavyweight division is concerned I had Ortiz ranked in the top 3 and considered him the most feared/dangerous of the contenders. He destroyed a Jennings who gave Klitschko a difficult time.

That was prior to his PED busts, though.
Not going to argue that Ortiz could be no:3, I just don't have enough to go on as yet, I'd probably go for Parker ahead of Ortiz based on opposition to date. Ortiz has definitely been feared by other contenders and also poorly represented for years, he's had a problem with being dangerous whilst bringing no real incentive to fight him, but he does have an old George Foreman thing going on.

I would love to see Ortiz vs Browne, both are ageing underrated big angry lumps of granite with similar stories and the whole PED use back story of both guys, could be a fight for redemption and contention all in one, would be a total barn stormer imho.

But yeah so casuals think Mayweathers 'record' is legit or relevant in the HW division huh? pffft.
So now you're questioning Mayweather's record when compared to Wilder's? I'm not even a Mayweather fan but there's absolutely no comparison. At least he beat multiple HOF'ers on his way to his undefeated record even if it was calculated moves to guarantee the lowest risk for the highest reward that got him to that point. Wilder's record and quality of opponents is a total joke.
Mayweather's record has relevance as soon as Wilder talks about beating it. HE made that comparison and so he obviously thinks there is relevance or importance to beating his record. I thought you blatantly supported any and all US fighters? You have a picture of Tank Davis, Mayweather's fighter, as the king yet you are criticizing his record? There are so many contradictions in your statement it's downright baffling.

Exactly. It's amazing how many delusional fans are on here. Wilder is also delusional if he thinks he's going to achieve what Mayweather did. He better get moving. From here on in, if Wilder wants to back up his supposed ambition, mno more bums or he is a total fraud.

hate him or love him, he's not wrong, it's entirely possible. he's 39-0 and is only 32 years old. Let's not act like this is the heavyweight division of the past.

No it's not. Wilder is the biggest cherry picking "champ" out there. Even Adonis Stevenson, who has avoided the best in his division for several years now, has fought better opposition hands down and that's a guy who has been paying step aside money to his mandatory challenger for over 2 years!
Joshua has a better resume than Wilder in 19 fights, end of story. Your only fooling yourself with this claim. Any half knowledgeable boxing fan can see what's really going on.

Cherry picker calling out another champ, that refuses to fight him. That's a duck.
