I can't see any reason why Canelo vs ggg wouldn't fight in May. It's the best financial option for either fighter & both fighters think they won the first fight, so the reluctance that golden boy previously had to make the fight before shouldn't be an issue any longer. Besides, who else will canelo fight that's like a Chavez jr in the sense that they can garner 1 mil ppvs buys and offer no risk? That situation is no longer available at mw because of the high risk low reward opponents such as jacobs, saunders and charlo.

Even an aging GGG is miles ahead of Lemieux. He cuts the ring off much better so Saunders will be in for a hell of a fight.

GGG has never come close to facing someone as slick on their feet as BJS.

Jacobs is the closest to that and he gave GGG all kinds of problems and took 6 rounds off GGG imo.

GGG will be 36 years old when he next fights, thats old for the kind of high energy style he has.

BJS is at his peak now and finally go his head right when it comes to training.
