or of course you can do it the old fashionioned way and introduce a tournament system like the wbss..but that takes lots of revenue

The governing bodies only have as much authority as the promoters give them. If the WBC, WBA, IBF and WBO announced a merger tomorrow, whichever promoter wasn't happy with the amount of world champions he had in the new landscape would just jump in bed with the IBO, IBA, etc.
So how do you maintain one governing body when the promoters don't want there to be one governing body? Promoters want world titles because networks want world titles. You have to please multiple networks in the US, UK, Germany, Japan, etc. If a promoter couldn't get enough titles from the "one" body, he'd just get them elsewhere.Comment

The announcement to strip Rigo was made before the Lomo fight, so no surprise here. Rigondeaux’s career really is in question. He’s old and avoided. And now, with no belt, what does he have to offer? Wouldn’t surprise me if he quietly retired. A very unceremonious end to the career of a great boxer.Comment

If you're propsing the WBSS as a replacement for the sanctioning bodies, the WBSS would have to seriously increase their schedule.
We would propose tournaments in the original eight weight classes, alternating each year with four tournaments per year.
Even years: HEAVYWEIGHT, MIDDLEWEIGHT, LIGHTWEIGHT, BANTAMWEIGHT
Odd Years: LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT, WELTERWEIGHT, FEATHERWEIGHT, FLYWEIGHT
If the WBSS had top fighters in every tournament and crowned their own world champion in each division, it's possible over time the public would accept the eight WBSS champions as the true world champions of boxing. But WBSS would need a lot more money and would need a lot of lucky breaks to make any of this possible.
And don't get me started on the WBC and that piece of shet, fat mother****er Mauricio Suleiman... He needs to join his dad 6 feet under!
So you tell them all that they should clean up their ****ing mess and there should only be one champion per division! THAT'S IT!
Till that day comes they can all choke on a big, fat ****!
You tell them BIG STOMPS said it!Comment

"The special permission was requested, and [Rigondeaux] was given the opportunity because it is an important fight for boxing," stated WBA President Gilberto Mendoza Jr. last year.
"If he loses, he would then have to lose the recognition [of being WBA champion] because it is what corresponds [to agreement of allowing him to move up]"
So there's the explanation. The WBA have stripped Rigo of their 122lb title for losing at 130lb ... because that's what they told him they would do if he lost.
But why did you tell him that, Mr Mendoza?
That's what I'd like to know.Last edited by kafkod; 01-02-2018, 06:54 AM.Comment

I love it when fighters like Canelo told the WBC to stick their piece of shet belt up their ****ing ass

Mauricio is a stand up guy who truly cares about the well being of boxing. It's easy to sit behind a computer and bad mouth someone you don't know or don't understand. If it weren't for Mauricio, year round Olympic style drug testing would not be becoming the standard in boxing. The WBC making VADA mandatory was a radical and expensive step. It's cost the WBC a lot of money. It's cost the WBC several heavyweight title fights and eliminators already. It has hurt the WBC's bank account in major ways.
But Mauricio is very passionate about clean boxing. He should be applauded for putting sport before finance. He's also a very nice guy and by far the least shady of the four sanctioning body presidents. Mauricio is not a greedy man and he truly loves boxing and the legacy of his father. Mauricio has all the money he could ever need, but he works tirelessly for no reason other than his love of boxing.Comment

I don't think the WBC, WBA and IBF presidents would continue talking to us regularly if we said that.
Well let's be fair here. Canelo blatantly ducked GGG. The WBC should be applauded for enforcing the rules even though they would have made a lot more money with Canelo as champion. We shouldn't be criticizing the WBC for putting sport before finance. Canelo just had to orchestrate all of that controversy in the aftermath to try to distract his fans from the fact that he blatantly ducked GGG.
You sound like a very miserable person. Whatever is going on in your life, we hope you feel better. Whether it's trouble at school or work, lack of sex, money problems, or anything else, normal happy people do not lash out and wish death upon others the way you have.

I'm tall, healthy, good looking, and I get plenty of pu-ssy!
Unlike you I'm a man and I don't swing off another man's nutts! You should change your name to George cause you swing off Mauricio Suleiman's nutts like George of the jungle.
That fat piece of shet don't give a **** about anything or anybody but fattening up his own pockets. And if your too ****** to realize that then IDK what to tell you...
As far as him cleaning up boxing and all that bullshet well he's a ****ing joke just like you! What's the purpose of testing boxers for PED's when he's still gonna let them keep their belts and keep giving them passes?? And you wanna say he's not greedy!?? Then why is he creating a piece of shet belt every time a high profile fight comes up?
Why was he trying to get money from Canelo for that piece of shet huicho belt he created last May??
I'll tell you why.. Cause he's a greedy son of a b-itch!
So you can think what you want, say whatever you want but we both know your not affiliated or associated with any of them alphabet soup organizations. Your a ****ing clown just like Mauricio Suleiman. That's all you are!Comment
