    Has any champ in history...?

Has any champ in history, won a belt in a particular division, successfully defended that belt, yet had fans so adamant that the champ wasn't in the division he won and retained his belt? We have Canelo fans here, adamant, and insisting, that Canelo wasn't a mw, even though he fought as a MW, won a belt at MW, defended belt at MW, and is today recognized as the lineal MW champ. Has any other champ had this happen?

Well we have people that keep referring to Canelo as a kid and they believe he won't even reach his prime for another three or four years. He's 27 and fighting professionally for over a decade.

So if he was still green when GGG fought him, Canelo must have been going through puberty when Floyd fought him.

The GGG hate is strong. Logic is blinded by hate.

Lol. So you added "Champ" status to justify your claim about fighters being bonafide for that weight if there was a strap involved...

You strategically made all this ramble so that you could justify your own words to say Lil'G was a SMW in 2008, but because he wasnt a champ then, you strawman to a different fighter all when Lil'G been seasoned at 160 since when?..

          FFs..

And then defend them at full 147 and calls himself a "small welterweight" while fighting full fledged welterweights, and acknowledges himself as a welterweight fighter.

But you guys calls Canelo a not true MW despite winning a MW, defending a MW, and being called a MW champ. And worse things worst, Canelo's not the one saying he is not a MW champ but rather you guys

I think those two guys are the same person. There was a thread here (can't find it now) that showed both guys responding to posts with the exact same wording.

Im hoping we can get through basic arithmetic, then we can proceed to logical deduction. If these guys don't get simple "greater than, less than" expressions, I know logical inferences would only confuse them

Were you not around here during the height pf Pac/May ******ity when May fans (I named them Maynerds) claimed he was not a light middleweight in the build up to the Canelo fight, hence the catchweight was legit...forgetting lil boy floy had beaten two champs at the full limit and held a title at that point.

So no, it's not unusual for irrational individuals to lie.

in comparison what are most other 25 year olds doing in boxing? how many other guys in the sport had canelos type of resume at 25?

hell ggg is 35 and his resume still isnt as good as canelos 2 years ago lol
