Canelo and GGG have both been my favorite boxers for years. GGG's dream is still to unify 160 but he put his dream on hold for by far the biggest, highest paying fight of his career. He fights for a living and he is getting old. You should ask yourself why you dislike GGG. He is an exciting KO artist who defends his title more often per year than any other champion in boxing. He has given every top middleweight who was willing to fight him a shot at his titles. If he beats Canelo in the rematch Saunders will get his shot at GGG's titles next.

he is an exciting KO artist(against C level comp) and he is active...and hes very talented...never denied that......just wondering why it was ok for him to ask for a CW but not for cotto...or why its ok for him to protect his financial interests and maximize his earnings but its not for canelo....or why its ok for him to fight a WW but its not ok for canelo?

cotto was offered a CW fight for the title...because it was a great fight financially for martinez.....cotto offered canelo a fight at a CW for it because that was a great fight financially for both guys......they all made business decisions......is that only allowed for golovkin?

golovkin did claim to be something other than a MW....do i have to run that whole thing back again?

golovkin also claimed he couldnt get big fights....yet after watching cotto and canelo play with the belts at CW he refused to even try to negotiate a fight with either at a CW

cotto and canelo both served notice at the time that they were doing CW fights...so when they were in his "domain" he should have taken notice on that.......but he flat out refused to even try to make a fight with them all while claiming his dream was to "unify" ....or so we thought when he ducked ward

yet saunders is out there with that WBO and he been chasing a guy that dropped his WBC belt

Ward is a fake. He couldn't even beat an alcoholic without bent judges and a crooked ref. GGG would have anihilated him at 168.

Does me saying that make you hate Golovkin even more?

I hope so. GGG hate threads are funny as fuck!

I'm also a big GGG fan, but I don't hate Canelo. I blame his trainer and De La hoya for those bullshit games with Caneloweight, time dated "offers" and stalling till they thought GGG was past prime.

how come its ok for golovkin to duck in order to chase a big money fight....but when canelo makes a couple of big fights, instead of golovkin, and then still gets golovkin his fight he is a pansy?
Cos fans will be fans, man. They overlook the ish that makes their guy look bad and overstate the ish that makes 'em look good. The worst of them think that trashing other fighters is a way of making their guy look better... and people who trash on other fighters in order to somehow 'get revenge' on rival fanbases are equally pathetic in my book. None of you guys hear of taking the higher ground? Anyway, you're talking like one group is worse than another, when actually they're much of a sameness. Regardless, man, I rather talk about boxing than boxing fans (or whatever you call the oddballs who post on boxing forums) so I'm out of here. Hope you have a happy New Year.

ya man im pretty pathetic...id like to see all fighters held to the same standards and i like to give all fighters a chance to win me over.....im pathetic though if i give it back to a fanbase that constantly chides a fighter for doing the same thing a fighter they cheer on does?

if that makes me pathetic than so be it.....its funny though....it certainly seems like a lot of guys change their tune when presented with truths and facts.....youve never gone out here and bashed a fighter in a thread to their fanbase? NEVER?

much of the sameness is kind of vague? are they really the same? would canelo fans talk trash on golovkin if golovkin fans thanked canelo for the opportunity and showed canelo respect? hmm....certainly would be an interesting study wouldnt it

if golovkin fans said "man **** this brook fight this is BS ...this was BS when canelo did it and ill be damned if im gonna support this BS...shame on loeffler" are we certain canelo fans might not show golovkin some respect?

if golovkin ever came out and said "yeah man alot of that smack i was talking about 168...ward hes so good man thats such a tough fight...i dunno" and his fans said "hey man that ward...great resume and what a performance in the 2nd kovalev fight"....u think ward fans would be around trashing golovkin every day?

certainly would be interesting to find out....but we all know that will never happen in any universe

                    Revere is a BIG word.

I don't see many people revering Golovkin on this site. A few, maybe more than a few, like the guy in my sig. Other than that, he has some good, reasonable fans.

He also has his own harsh critics.
